KNOW EDDY, LEARN THE CASE, AND SUPPORT THE CAUSE

Case Update: On May 4, 2017, Lieutenant Commander Edward Lin accepted a pre-trial agreement and pleaded guilty to communicating defense information and other charges not specifically related to the underlying allegations of espionage. This is what we know all along, Eddy is not a spy for Taiwan, China or any foreign country.

On September 11, 2015, Lieutenant Commander Edward Lin was taken into the custody of the Navy Criminal Investigation Service.  His US Constitutional rights were not protected, nor respected.  The government immediately imprisoned Eddy for more than two months before even preferring court-martial charges.  From there, the government took its time to create a conventional, easy-to-digest, sensationalized tale of espionage, misdirection, and sexual perversion.  That's not the Eddy Lin we know and love.  That's not the Eddy Lin with whom and for whom you served in dangerous and austere environments.  That's not the Eddy Lin you sent forward to carry out high impact/critical missions.  Eddy is innocent of the alleged crimes with which the government has charged him.  He is no spy for Taiwan, China or any other foreign country.  So, here is our plea to you to take back the narrative.
